Another case of a republican not knowing which side he wants to stand on. He supports right to work states , yet he says fighters need a union. He made the human cock fighting claim in 2001. That was a long time after head butting was illegal. Now how responsible is it to make claims on something you have no knowledge of what is actually going on? Sounds like it has a lot in common with his economic plans as well.
I think he's a little off-based on alot of things, but would a Union for Fighters be such a bad idea? For now, it wouldn't hurt to have the young guns making $100,000 a fight to help some of the guys that set them up to be so successful. Look at what a union did for NFL.
I think I agree about the union. But seriously, he was a boxer, and boxing is arguably more dangerous than MMA. Dana white defended it beautifully in an interview once. A knockout in MMA is a ten second opportunity for a boxer to stand in a boxing match. They can take several punches that can cause a very short blackout, whereas in MMA, that would end the fight.
