According to a report on Sherdog, Jay Hieron has verbally agreed to fight MMA veteran Drew Fickett at Affliction 2 “Day of Reckoning” on Oct. 11th from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV.
According to Ficketts manager no agreement has been reached and negotiations with Affliction are still ongoing.
Hieron the former IFL welterweight champion is a great pick up for Affliction, who has a limited fighter pool outside of the heavyweight division.
