UFC President Dana White has confirmed with Yahoo Sports the UFC’s schedule for the rest of the year and into 2009.
- UFC 88 in Atlanta on Sept. 6
- Ultimate Fight Night on Sept. 17 in Omaha, Neb.
- UFC 89 on Oct. 18 in Birmingham, England
- UFC 90 on Oct. 25 in Chicago
- UFC 91 on Nov. 15 in Portland, Ore.
- The Ultimate Fighter Finale on Dec. 13 in Las Vegas
- UFC 92 on Dec. 27 in Las Vegas.
- UFC 93 on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas.
White also confirmed the lightweight fight between Kenny Florian and Joe “Daddy” Stevenson will take place at UFC 91 in Portland Oregon. Also the welterweight title fight between BJ Penn vs. GSP will take place at UFC 93
the anticipated welterweight title fight between champion Georges St. Pierre and lightweight champion B.J. Penn would be moved to Super Bowl weekend on Jan. 31, 2009, in Las Vegas.
This upcoming weekend is sure to be a weekend of excitement and cheer for UFC and MMA fans. UFC 93 in
Dublin will be a fun fest of MMA cheer right after the
holiday season, and with the card expected, should be a
nice start to a jam packed 2009 MMA year.

too many bj haters! they are both great fighters and i give both full respect. anyone who thinks this will be a lopsided fight is smoking crack! i think bj will come out on top because his better standup (boxing) and his ability to catch you in a submission from any position. yes his cardio might be a factor but remember this, GSP does have a glass jaw and when he gets rattled or thrown off his game plan he has a hard time getting back on track. the ONLY reason why bj lost the first fight is because of his cardio. bj all the way baby!! HAWAIIAN!!
and another one for the crack smokers i think alves would give GSP a very tough fight, GSP would definitely not walk all over him that's for sure!
Penn got spanked, It was glorious to watch! Who said GSP was over rated? GSP absolutely dominated Penn and its because GSP is a far superior athlete, its really that simple! OH CANADA!
