According to the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) via MMACalifornia, Royce Gracie did not appeal his suspension and fine for the June 2 Dynamite USA event is now final. Gracie made multiple statements in the press, stating that “He would fight this ruling”, but now that the time frame has expired, this legend of MMA’s reputation is now officially tarnished.
“Royce Gracie’s timeframe to appeal his suspension has expired. A formal appeal hearing request was not received in our office therefore the suspension and fine are final.”
