Normally I hate this clown but he states the truth here, Boxing is finished, not that I ever like it in the first place, in fact I don't really like sports at all but I love MMA and it is the present and the future. Anyway I gotta run bitches, doing some MMA training with my friends this weekend. Today we are working on the ground game on the mats. It's gonna get sweaty.

With Dream declaring war on us, or I should say me, because I am the UFC, I need to come up with bigger and better ideas. I was thinking you, War Machine (when he gets out of course), and me, do a an all-male porn…what do you think? I know that you are hetero and this in no way will label you as gay. Everyone gets a one-time free pass at experimenting without being label a homo. I say we film it in the octagon. I'll even wear my tights-I still have them from my aerobic days.
Keep training to keep in shape because this project has to wait a year, until War is sprung from the penn.

dana white is a bitch. end of boxing? bitch please. The same way vince mcmahon dilusionally thinks wwe is ruling the entertainment world, dana white says anything to promote his gay ass company over the competition. Oh God i wish for the end of the ufc. His company has spawned a generation of inbred rednecks like cobra clutch who think theyre so badass now beacuse they got thier parents to pay for a jujitsu class. This attitude then gets them knocked out with a broken nose on the street by a guy who knows even a little bit of boxing making them realise that environments dictate fight and the cage has rules, a sport, hardly the same environment as the street. Plus if boxing was dead, how do you explain how mayweather and paccquio and the hayes and klitchkoes of the world make their 20 millions per fight..more than any of the ufc fighters make in a year
I agree with Jeremy, except that there are rules in boxing as well, and the environment is not going to stop an MMA fighter from kicking. Environments dictate fights, to a certain extent. Boxers punch, MMA does more.
In my experience, the 'street fight' environment 95% of the time consists of 'nose to nose threatening' before a fight breaks out. no space and range and time for either kicking or grappling, not to mention, bad clothing and the possibility of multiple attackers.
clinching and standing wrist control followed by a headbutt or boxing or muay thai elbows are the best and most practical techniques for the street.
boxing will never die… anybody who thinks this is crazy.. boxing is nowere near what it use to be. it has fallen off alot… i just enjoy fights. in different enviroment you need to react different. i do enjoy watching ufc and bellatore better than boxing. But there are still good boxing fights. theres always goona be boring fights in either sport.
jeremy street fighting is whole another thing anything could happen theres no tko or tapping its over when the winner says its over or 10-20 break it up….

I have thought for a while that boxing should steal from MMA –
1. Replace the ring with a roped Octagon or Hezagon
2. Bare feet – No boots
3. Replace those silly boxing shorts with the cooler MMA fight shorts (Cos it fits well with the extreme sports aesthetic)
4. Five min rounds – (6 OF)
5. 1 Premier Organisation (like the UFC)… And a number of feeder organisations
Basically – Exactly the UFC model – but boxing in place of MMA – i'd watch it for sure!!
I wont watch boxing and heres why, every meaningful fight that boxing has offered since tyson lost his mind hasnt happened because of corrupt promoters destroying the sport and if the fight does happen its 5 years after both fighters were in their prime. why does it matter if there is olypic style drug testing if your not doing anything wrong, mayweather pacquio is a fight even I would watch but we won't see it at least not until one or both of them are no longer very relivent
