Stepan Bonnar makes a successful UFC return in an impressive fashion with a first round (2:14) rear naked choke submission of Mike Nickles in UFC 73. Bonnar reversed Nickles to take his back and apply the choke. This is his first return to the cage since testing positive for steroids following his fight with Forrest Griffin.
yeah but Mike Nickels is a horrible fighter so thats not a big win in any means that was more of a must win
Wish I could have seen this one,glad he's back in the cage. Even if it was a give-me ( didn't see it), he needed a win. I hate to see a fighter loose a couple fights & fade away. Way to hang in there Bonnar!
