Seriously, though…it was OBVIOUS Card was KTFO. Do you REALLY have to wail on the guy after? That's just bullshit. Have some class. What's the point in that and what are you proving? I hope someone keeps pulling a little longer after he taps to an armbar on this guy later in his career…just a little longer, nothing crazy…kinda like when BJ didn't let go of that choke on Pulver right away.
I do see what you are saying but with all of the adreline and all of the questionable referee calls, I could see why someone would keep going. In fact, many instructors teach you keep going until the ref stops it. That is the way I was taught. If we go back and look at the Scott Smith VS Pete Sell, Should have Pete stopped? Scott was badly hurt but as we saw, not done. So it is kind of a tough call, specially in real time.
Scott Smith and Pete Sell was an amazing fight.
