TUF 5 Finale: Leonard Garcia vs. Allen “Lobstah” Berube

According to MMAWeekly, Leonard Garcia (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) announced to them that he will face off against “The Lobstah” Allen Berube (2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at The Ultimate Fighter Finale on June 23. Garcia who is well known for standing with Roger Huerta, in a three round battle of heart, which he took on short notice at UFC 69. Berube is known for being the first one eliminated on The Ultimate Fighter season 5 by Cole Miller. Berube was later kicked out of the house for being the main instigator of the infamous “Back Yard Brawl” between Marlon Sims and Noah Thomas.

“I’m very excited”

“Training has been going good. I took a week off after the Huerta fight [April 7th] and then got back in the gym and I’ve been there ever since. I’m up in Colorado right now working with Duane Ludwig on my stand-up, so I’m not swinging for the fences when I’m not supposed to.”

    I don't get it. You can say that two of the TUF 5 fighters are banned from the UFC for life and the third guy who was kicked off is good to go. I didn't think Dana would let Lobstah fight in the UFC again either.

    This should be an easy win for Garcia, he's pretty good. That fight was great and at the end his face was so swollen he looked like the fly.
