Alves looked great last night but he is suspect for me. I wasn't aware that with a sprained ankle you cant cut weight. You cant swim, you cant sit in a sauna, apparently you cant do anything. The thing is that he didn't really looked weak like he went through a big cut. That wasn't even close, he was 4 pounds over.
I think that even if he cut he would have won that fight. Hughes just wasnt fast enough.
Yeah cause Hughes could have beaten him if he lost those 4 lbs! lol
i do think huges would have won if he did cut them 4 punds.. he would have been soo drained after cutting them 4 pounds and after the first round he would have been way more tired..
also i love how matt hughes makes no excuses on his lose thats a real champ
