i not sure if he can stand with Chuck .. but …thats what i said about Evans too .. Chucks getting old and slower this coild be a must win for him i believe
Agree, but they say the power is the last thing to go.
I think this is a good match. They both need a win really badly. Sure Chuck has slowed down but he does have a huge punchers chance. He needs to connect with a big punch and win by KO on Franklin because I don't think he's good enough right now to win by decision on Franklin. Franklin's too good of an all arounder to lose by decision. Should be a good match though. Could go either way but if I had to pick I would probably go with Franklin.
ya this fight is definetly more interesting than chuck tito 3
watch if he beats franklin they will give him tito then forrest or randy and then the title shot lol all fighters i thinkhe could still have a good chance at beating.
I love watching the Iceman, but I would be lying to say I'm not worried about Rich's kicks…especially after seeing how Jardine welted him up.
I don't see Chuck winning this at all. Maybe the old Chuck, but not now. Even the old Chuck would have been a close call in my opinion.
Franklin's twin ass beating from Silva makes a lot of folks forget what an excellent fighter he is. Chuck is tough and a great striker, but Franklin has an overall better game and I think he's a smarter fighter. Regardless I think it will be entertaining.
Sorry everyone but personally I think it's going to be a boreing fight. Both over the hill, both stand up fighters, both will circle and avoid each others game, both need a win so they will be reluctant to engage. I think your going to see six minutes of circling with an occasional flurry. JMO And I like them both.
Which ever way it goes, there's no way it sucks worse than GSP vs Hardy or Rampage vs Evans….maybe in gay porn 10 to 15 minutes of laying on the ground and sweating all over a guy is exciting but fights should be just that…FIGHTS!
I agree with those saying this is going to be a good match-up. Yeah, they're old and it's not like they're in their prime, but I'm more interesting in this than Chuck/Tito3 or I was for Couture/Coleman. But yeah, if this is the best they can do for a main event, it's sad. But then again… this is understandable, considering they have the biggest card of the year coming up on July 3. Now, by biggest, I don't mean "best," I mean the 4th of July weekend tends to be a big one.
Not buying this one, the UFC is on a down hill slide they need to make fights that people wanna see and pay 50 bucks for just waitn for Lesnar vs Carwin. Honestly this fight will suck for Chuck too old and he is one dimensional.
