TMZ is reporting, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been picked up Binghamton, New York on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Apparently Bones crashed his Bentley into a pole early this morning and has since been bailed out from the Broome County holding by his mother.
The champ walked away from the incident uninjured, according to his manager Malki Kawa.
Now statement has yet been released by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

I agree but to be honest we can all be arrested for anything over a 0.4 BAC which is only 2 drinks. How many of us have had two beers when we were out?

A month ago he accepted UFC sponsorship and said it was a good investment because "You never have to worry about me with a DWI" -Jon Jones. Can we stop thinking this guy is humble and perfect already. Like you said he's human and makes mistakes. I think nothing less of him but all of you nut huggers need to stop thinking he's perfect.
Nobody is hugging is his nuts. he is human but he has been been humble and not really cause any waves, so he would not be the first fighter that you would associate with a DUI. If he were a bad boy and has a history of issues, then you can expect it. Would anyone be surprised from Chris Leben getting another DUI? NO. Would anyone be surprised if Nick Diaz was busted for weed again or missed another meeting or conference? No. Would anyone be surprised if Chael Sonnen continued to act like a idiot? No…but for someone like a Randy Couture, Junior Dos Santos or Jon to get in trouble with the law…it is surprising. And by the way, I think less of him as person. Still love his fighting ability but I have lost a few loved ones to DUI drivers and I am against that 100%.

Hows this for irony. Jones was arrested by the Broome county sheriffs dept. which happens to be the same sheriffs department that he did his little police training thing with last month
