Karo “The Heat” Parisyan, once considered top five in the UFC welterweight division, is apparently in talks with Strikeforce, according to MMAFighting.
Parisyan was on shaky ground with the UFC after being suspended by the NSAC for taking banned pain killers before his fight with Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 94. He was brought back after his suspension to challenge submission artist Dustin Hazelett at UFC 106, but pulled out of the fight just one day before the weigh-ins. UFC President Dana White had enough and tweeted that Parisyan will never fight again for the UFC.
Parisyan who suffers from depression and anxiety disorders later admitted he is addicted to prescription pain killers.
I'd quite like to see Nick Diaz v Karo 2! Just to see Diaz smash him and get the win back!
