Nick Diaz Steps In As The Underdog Against Braulio Estima In BJJ Superfight

Nick Diaz licensing issues with the NSAC might be far from settled, but that doesn’t stop him from stepping in against Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) Submission World Champion Braulio Estima in a Jiu-Jitsu “Superfight”, this according to MMAFighting. Braulio is no slouch, the guy has a long successful history of BJJ experience.

Diaz, a Cesar Gracie black belt hasn’t competed in a BJJ in over two years. It will be interesting to see how he holds up against top talent.

The 180 lbs. Superfight will take place at the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo on May 12 in Long Beach, CA.

I wonder if Diaz is going to talk crap to Estima while he's being choked out.

Thlies Leitus got submitted (high level BJJ Black blet never been submitted), Big nog got submitted (high level BJJ Black belt never got submitted) So here we are again. He is Brazilian and we think he invincible in BJJ because he is from Brazil. Nick is just as good as him in grappling

I can't wait. I think the fighter that trains with a gi the most will win the match and that's Estima.

    • Rudy says:

Nick is no joke. He is great at BJJ but he is definitely going to be the underdog in this match. Of course anything can happen and to be honest, I am going to cheer for Nick but Braulio is a beast.
