There are no holes in silva's fight game but i think shields knows he won't be around to much longer. Silva will be beaten and time is not on his side so sheilds is hedging his bet so he is in position to fight for a title shot
i heard shields say that silva wasn't very good on the ground. but he's avoided all submission attempts and even won a top notch bjj fighter like travis lutter. if shields thinks that silva has a weakness on the ground, he's going to find himself waking up to the ref.
Shields may or may not get a title shot at 185. If he does, he will DEFINITELY not win. He is way too slow.
way too slow for silva. and he couldn't take him down even if he wanted to.
Can't wait for Palhares to tear off his leg.
