    my predictions

florian will beat lauzon… i think this will be a great fight but florian has looked great lately. either one could win i wouldnt bet against joe but kenny is a favorite for a reason.

karo should beat thiago but i hope this doesnt go to a decision and we see a cool throw in the process. being a judo guy myself i want karo to win even if i think he has a bad personality

i think matt hamill will win but who knows this fight could go either way. matt should still be undefeated and i really was disappointed when bonnar pulled out.

i see nate diaz beating pelligrino after getting his ass beat for most of the round. diaz has a way of taking abuse and pulling off a sub when u think he is about to be out of the fight. plus seeing pelligrino lose to joe daddy i dont see him beating champ anytime soon but if diaz bulked up and keeps improving i could see him going a long way and want to see him face a top 5 opponent. but then again i wouldnt mind seeing diaz get manhandled and lose if he realizes that he needs to hit the weights afterwards so we can see his true potential.

as much as i like the guy i dont see irvin making it through the first round with houston unless he shouts on him. seriously alexander is gunna be comming looking to make a statement and that means trouble for anyone who likes to stand and bang.

im really excited for the gray maynard vs frankie edgar match. what dos swing match mean tho? i think they matchup great and cant really chose a winner but ill go with frankie because he is unbeaten like gray but has faught the best in the world.

    marcus should win by submission

i think din thomas will beat josh neer in a war

i want to say tommy speer will win but after seeing his ufc debut i was really disappointed. i think he chokes under the pressure of the bright lights and i think he has great potential but doesnt train properly. on the show he said he was training at his far for the finale and was still working. if he wants to be successful he has to focus full time and get in a good camp and i dont know if he’s done that does anyone have any info on this??? i’ll still say tommy wins tho haha.

im lookin for manny gamburyan to dish out a savage beating and win in the first. he is one of my favorite fighters.

i predict clay guida will win and i think this is the easiest match the ufc ha given to clay in a long time. after the stiff competition clays been facing i feel bad for sammy.

as much as i like roman george was the person i picked to win the whole show and i cant bet agaisnt george.

i think lauzon will pull it off. houston will probably show that he developed some kind of ground game, but KO thompson in the process. i'm hoping frankie edgar can pull it off. and i like thiago alves only because karo is pretty cocky and talks down to women (the bane of my existence).

  3. roy says:

i think you just about nailed it dane, heres my picks

    florian(close fight)

    karo(another tough one to call)

boetsch(if he fights like his last fight should win)

    diaz(another close one)

    maynard(may easily be wrong)

    aurelio?

    thomas(very well rounded)

    johnson

    gamburyan

    guida

    sotiropoulos

almost all of them are hard to call and thats a good thing!

  4. whodini says:

i hope karo gets his ass kicked i dont like him for some reason lauzon mught pull it out maybe but kenny is a small monster for sure

  5. mazzaggatti sucks says:

…and Mazzagatti fucks up again with his early stoppage.

  6. whodini says:

no way karo was OUT … I SAID OUT … he got his stupid ass whooped period .. i said period … i loved it .. he didnt protect himself his arms went limp his head went between his knees like he was blowing himself

  7. CagE says:

Karo fell like a bag of potatoes…hot headed bastard

  8. PoppyNick says:

WTF……SPIKE…put my fights back on. Did anyone else just lose the broadcast???

  9. mazzaggatti sucks says:

Karo was out but houston was fine

  10. Nicks says:

Karo and Houston both got knocked out sorry.

  11. Nicks says:

Some many knockouts Tommy Spear got crushed by Anthony Johnson.

Damn Tim Boetsch got killed by the elevation he was landing some good shots on Hamill and busted him up good before he fully gased out.

  12. Morey says:

Karo was definitely out and he goes to the back of the line again in the title shot. I think Houston Alexander wasn't Ko'd but he did get flashed and didn't know where Irvin was coming from. Its his fault for not putting his legs and hands up to at least look like he was defending himself…he made it look like he was out…especially to a ref like Mazagatti.

  13. danedrebin says:

ya i was really disappointed with alexander it seems like he has all the power in the world but not really the skill factor. i wouldnt want to fight him because he's so wild theres a big possibility he will knock u out but its about 50/50 chance he is gunna get knocked out himself

  14. whodini says:

i think the altitude was a factor in all the fights except for karo and tommy spears and alexander i have never seen anyone get rocked like that from a superman punch..i bet he feels real bad right about now

  15. roy says:

yeah the altitude was a big factor, joe looked real good i thought those elbows where dirty and they did not do much about it.i thought he won the first round and looked winded in the 2nd.

  16. MMA Forums says:

So where does this leave Houston? Prelim card from now on i take it..

  17. roy says:

houston could go to the wec the 205 devision is a little weak there he may do good.

  18. tom says:

i thnk houston should go to wec 205 cause they dont really have no one and he would win alot more fights there… but he grey and nate looked great and tommmy got knock out ha

  19. Morey says:

I think Houston will get another main card fight because people still want to see him win. On top of that, weather it was stopped early or not, it wasn't a satisfying fight for the fans and they will want one more. But I think you guys are right and he might want to think about going to the WEC.

  20. onri says:

As long as people want to see Houston he will be back. KenFlo damn, I never expected that scronny MW in TUF 1 to turn the corner and become a pretty damn good fighter. He is technically sound now.

  21. STEVEO says:

I am huge Houston fan, been watching him fight for a long time in Des Moines and Omaha but I was really disappointed. I can understand a loss to Thiago Silva because by all rights its prolly what should have happened but to this jobber, thats aweful espciallly the wa ythat it happened. he needs to get it together or he will be looking for a new job before too long.
