Former UFC fighter Keith Jardine returns to face Gegard Mousasi on Strikeforce ‘Diaz vs Daley’ on April 9th in San Diego. Jardine replaces Mike Kyle who was forced to withdraw from the fight with a broken hand.

Like most Strikeforce fighters, Mousasi is wildly overrated so I expect Jardine to do well in this fight, but despite his nickname Jardine fights like a pussy and mostly throws leg kicks and he has no ground game so Mousasi will probably outpoint Jardine fairly easily and win every round unless Jardine catches him as he does have some power.
I don’t know I thought Mousasi was going to handle King Mo and he got beat up. So I’m not counting Jardine out of it yet. But Jardine did get knocked down at a NM event a few weeks back from a guy who doesn’t have anywhere near the striking of Mousasi.
