The Ultimate Fighting Championships has called in Melvin Guillard and Fabricio Camoes for UFC 148 on July 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Last year Melvin Guillard was on a roll in the UFC, racking up five wins in the lightweight division. But after two consecutive rear naked choke submission losses inside the Octagon, The Young Assassin finds himself in need of a strong showing.
Fabricio Camoes (14-6-1) looks to continue the momentum of his submission win over UFC newcomer Tommy Hayden at UFC on FX “Guillard vs. Miller”.
UFC 148 is expected to feature the bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber.
