Just as Pro Elite announced its first ever event to be broadcast on CBS will be on May 31, we now get some more details about who’s fighting on the card.
According to FiveOncesOfPain:
- The broadcast will be called “Saturday Night Fights”.
- First show May 31 in New Jersey, likely the The Prudential Center.
- Kimbo Slice will headline against an unknown opponent.
- TUF veteran, Scott Smith will take on Robbie Lawler for Lawlers EliteXC middleweight belt.
- Gina Carano is expected to be fighting on the card. Rumored opponents Kaitlin Young or Cris Cyborg.
- Possible swing bout between heavyweights Brett Rogers and Jon Murphy. Nothing signed as of yet.
It looks pretty good here. I wonder how the production of the event will change since it is going to be on CBS.
Wherever there are a lot of cameras you can find Gina Carano.
Either way it would be as good as the UFC on Spike!
