boxing isn't what it used to be but as long as the old guys that love it don't die off and the mainstream keeps it in a better light then out sport its going to beat it (as of now)

Actually markito, it does make it a somewhat success, but we don't know the true numbers of actual Euros there, how many people that showed up to the game where either Dolphin or Giants diehards? How many people there are service members stationed somewhere in Europe? But that game had nothing to do with NFL-E or World League, it was just an attempt to create a more worldwide audience for American Football.
NFL-E/World League was just horrible in terms of talent, whereas boxing has and always will have mainstream worldwide appeal, and MMA is quickly gaining popularity worldwide like boxing had in the past. I don't think any of us would have thought about watching UFC coming out of the UK, Germany, Australia, or UAE a few years ago.
