No, I don;t think that she did not think Tate would not tap but I heard that in her first MMA fight there was controversy over whether or not her opponent tapped and ever since, she just cranks until her opponents clearly taps or the ref tells her to stop. Also since Tate had already escaped one armbar, Rhonda did not want another opportunity toi slip away. I don't balme Rhonda. She seems like a bit*h but this was totally separate.
If you watch the slow motion video above, Tate did tap, but way to late. I think that Tate is dumb for not taping because if you are caught that deep, you should just tap. it was pretty clear that she was not going to escape so why not tap? Either way you are going to lose the fight. I would rather lose the fight and still have my arm bending the right way.
