A mixed boxing and MMA event promoted by Square Ring Promotions, Inc, is set to announce their “March Badness” fightcard featuring Roy Jones Jr. and Omar Sheika in the main event, on March 21st from the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, FL.
The PPV event will feature three MMA bouts. Featured fighters, WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley, Kimbo slayer Seth Petruzelli, former WEC light heavyweight champion Doug “Rhino” Marshall, former IFL heavyweight champion Roy Nelson and everyone favorite anarchist former UFC heavyweight Jeff Monson are expected to fill the MMA portion of the event.
An official press conference is expected Feb. 11th.

Sounds like a good show. Im a huge Roy Jones fan. So combine that with the great sport of MMA and im happy.
It will be cool to see if Seth Petruzelli comes out thinking he is some kind of elite fighter after knocking out that rookie with the beard (whats his name again?).
the show looks pretty good, i don't know if i would pay for it though, maybe with a few more solid fights on it.
who is omar sheika? i've been out of the boxing scene for a while. if its going to be PPV i hope roy jones is fighting a good contender.
Sheika is a decent boxer has fought for a few titles but came up short. He did beat Glen Johnson who has a KO victory over Roy Jones, he also fought Joe Calzaghe for the WBO Super Middleweight title but lost by round 5 TKO, no shame in that.
I guess this could be entertaining
Boxing is pretty boring for me but the MMA fights look pretty decent.

They should have had Seth fight Kimbo again. Its plenty of time for Kimbo to request the night off from McDonalds.
I think the Seth and Kimbo fight would pretty much go the same way, only it would last a little longer. I'm not gonna lie. I like Seth. I think he has unique standup.
