He kicked that ropes ass!
That rope will think twice before messing with Vitor again
what happened to Vitors body ? He was fucking jacked when he fought guys like Marvin Eastman and Wanderlei. Now he is just in good shape. Not even close to muscularity he had before. Aside from that, go Anderson ! I don't feel vitor desrerves such a quick title shot. Nothing against him, just doesn't seem right to just beat Rich Franklin at a catch weight then get a title shot at 185lbs. Just doesn't make sense.
The industry big names will always get the breaks:
Fedor, Cung Le, Vitor, etc.
I am also not sure that he deserves a title match so soon but who else is there in the division? Sonnen is on suspension plus i doubt that when he finally gets another shot at Anderson, that he will be as good as he was that night- he wont have his juice to help him. AA has already beaten Nate, Maia, and the Crippler…the only real options are Okami or Belfort and while we can now give Okami the benefit of the doubt on his loss to a roided Sonnen, he is not an exciting fighter and while I understand that he is doing what it takes to win, the UFC will market and promote exciting fighters versus guys that win, but are boring in doing so. Vito is explosive and when he is on, he is on…so we will see how bad he wants it. i do think that for marketing and in reagrds to providing the audience with the best matchup for a titlefight, Vitor is the right choice. I do not think that he will beat Anderson but i also wound not be surprised if Vitor wins.
Good post.
Should AA consider moving up to 205?
He has dominated to the point where there is no one in the organization left to face him in his class.
Let's see how Vitor fares.
