Former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk (33-3-1) will likely take on fellow wrestler Frankie Edgar (9-1) at UFC 98 on May 23 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, according to a report on MMAMania.
Minnesota native Sean Sherk is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tyson Griffin at UFC 90.
Edgar has not stepped into the cage since winning the decision over Hermes Franca at UFC Fight Night 14 last July.
