UFC 113 Moved To May 8th, Avoiding Mayweather vs Mosley

UFC President Dana White has moved the scheduled May 1st UFC 113 fightcard in Montreal to May 8th, avoiding the boxing matchup between Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley.

“We were trying to not go the same night as boxing but these [expletive] guys can’t get out of their own way … I have never seen anything so unorganized, selfish and dysfunctional as boxing. It’s a joke!” [Cagewriter]

Apparently the Bell Centre was able to accommodate the UFC and move a concert that was scheduled for May 8.

What a coincidence, Mayweather avoid top boxing matches too. UFC still does way more in volume than boxing does and boxing is still fallen. No new stars are being made and if the UFC cut their shows down to as many a year as boxing does then their number wood be huge for a single PPV but the overall numbers would drop.
