  1. tom says:

damn 155 he would kill.. but still i know the old sanchz will be back and get a win..

  2. roy says:

sanchez vs hughes that would be a good fight and see if diego should stay in the 170 devision.

  3. Morey says:

I think he still stacks up well in the 170 lb division. He has to learn how to deal with fighters with a reach advantage. Even if he did got to LW, there are guys like Corey Hill that would still be lengthy. I hope he focuses now on fighting.

  4. Kash says:

If he can make 155 I think he should do that…

  5. BRANDON says:

i think he should only train on striking for the next mo0nth and a half, have a rematch with koscheck. if he wins he should have a remtatch with fitch or fight hughes. and lets say he wins both fights and GSP still has the belt (which he will ) then we will be in store for a sick fucking fight…but he just has to get a lot better at striking or he'll never be good again cause everyone will always know his gameplan

  6. kom34 says:

I don't think Hughes has any ambition to fight any up and coming fighters. I think he fights Serra and retires win or lose.

  7. tom says:

i agree with kom34.. and Matt would kill Sanchez

  8. BRANDON says:

i diego doesnt look good striking in his next fight then i give up on him…who do you think he'll fight???? better not be a scrub/ sure thing win

  9. BRANDON says:

and anybody else think this is a weird picture…

  10. roy says:

he does that just before masterbating

  11. BRANDON says:

HAHAHAHA literally the funniest thing ive heard all week

  12. BRANDON says:

but seriously, i say he should fight (if he doesnt want a rematch with fitch r koscheck) either Thiago Alves, or Nick Diaz….

  13. dane drebin says:

this is sad he ould make 155 for sure hes a tibny welterweight ive always thought so… his ego wont let him drop down… and i was predicting him as champion in 155 that sucks and i think he would destroy corey hill

  14. JOE says:

I'd like to see Diego drop too 155 as well. like kom said, I don't think we'll see a Hughes – Diego fight any time soon. I want to see him rematch Kos, (100% no excuses). And yes, that is an odd photo.

  15. roy says:

diego at 155 dose make sense,i am suprised he dose not do it.

  16. DanP says:

I think he should definatley drop to 155, he will never win the belt at WW with the likes of GSP & John Fitch in there & to a lesser degree Kos, Hughes & Serra

He is a small WW and would match up better against Ken Flo, Sherk & Joe Daddy…. however, if BJ Penn is on form and wins the Title in Newcastle then Sanchez will struggle to take the belt at LW too!

I never liked him much to be honest – And no way was the John Fitch fight a split decision!!

  17. whodini says:

yeah he mlooks like zorro the gay blade

  18. whodini says:

cory hill? that gay looking black dude from utf ? he;lll kill his ass that dude could not fight he was there just to get air time he had no record remember if he fights him the ufc will just say here sanchez heres an easy win to make you look good he sucks

  19. Brandon says:

Joe stevenson and Diego would be a great fight!!! I think he can be success ful at WW but not with the likes of GSP about to be holding the belt…And BJ Penn with his great ground skills against Diego would be interesting to see, but it think BJ has the upper hand

  20. Scot says:

I hate to pound something into the ground, like Stevenson is going to do to BJ but, these guys are good with other fighters of their caliper, they don't come close to GSP. I don't think BJ will even have the chance to fight Diego, because he will probably never come back after he crawls away from Stevenson, look at the numbers- BJ has a win percentage of 70%, Stevenson's is 83% there is a reason for that. "Lets go Joe Daddy, show them how it is done!"

  21. roy says:

yes scott theres a reason for that its because bj has fought the best in the world and joe has not.and a 70% to 83% is not that big a difference when you factor in the caliber of fighters b.j has fought alot of them at a higher weight class than there records are not realy close b.j's is much better.i like joe and he does have a good chance to give a great fight but you act like b.j is nothing when he has beaten hughes held his own with gsp and machida.

  22. JOE says:

Scot: Don't worry about pounding that point into the ground. I don't think it's been used all that much. Not many people think Stevenson will win. BJ Penn is a superior fighter everywhere. Oh, off the subject, a "caliper" is an instrument consisting essentially of two curved hinged legs, used to measure thickness and distances. The word you were looking for was caliber. Now, when you make a comment with a somewhat dim-witted opinion, you can still sound halfway Intelligent.
