EliteXC News: Eddie Alvarez Inks A Three Fight Deal

According to Sam Caplan at ProElite, Bodog Fights welterweight champion Eddie Alvarez (12-1) has signed a three fight deal with EliteXC. Alvarez who fought as a welterweight with Bodog will drop down to EliteXC’s 160lb lightweight division.

Alvarez is scheduled to fight the Hawaiian Ross “Da Boss” Ebanez on the main event in the upcoming ShoXC event January 25 on Showtime.

Also part of the deal, Alvarez will be able to fight in M-1 Global’s upcoming promotions.

    not a bad pick up, elite is starting to get some fighters they climb up in the next couple years if they stick with it.
